OK, so I finally watch Danity Kane's new video Showstopper and I thought it was a cute video. The song is actually hot. At first, I wasn't so mesmerised by it but it took a few listens to pull me in. My favourite part of the video was the little dance sequence at the end, but they all looked great, and it's nice to see Puffy making a cameo appearance at the very beginning just to see his group get off to a good start. It's not something he particularly does when it comes to any of his acts signed to his Bad Boy label. Well, maybe Faith is an exception but since Danity Kane have the full blown promotion of their Making The Band publicity, I guess Puffy's cameo wasn't all that needed, which is why I think it was great he was in it. I was listening to the unreleased sophomore album of his now-defunct group Dream, and that album which goes by the name Reality was a very good album. I wonder why they split. They had great potential to me. Speaking of Puffy, his video Come to Me was HOT AS HELL! Nicole from The Pussy Cat Dolls looked gorgeous and Puffy was busting into some moves. I love to see that man dance. Don't ask me why. *lol* My favourite part was the end part with the blue background when they are dancing together. That was fucking raw! 
Now let's talk about Bad Boy artist Cassie performing Me & U on BET with Yung Joc. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, is all I can say. I just felt really bad for her. I was watching the performance with my hand over my mouth, as if Osama Bin Laden had just walked into my living room. No shit. That performance has got to be the most pitiful performance I have seen in the last five years. Her song Me & U which is about giving head is making me start to believe folks when they say that this was the very technique used to come by her record deal. There was just so many things wrong with this performance:1. The chick is tone deaf (she puts the capital M in Monotone)
2. She can't dance
3. She was singing out of tune
4. She wasn't even trying to put in the effort
5. Were her back-up singers there for decoration?
Clearly, the girl isn't cut out to be a star musically. If she can't perform or sing, how is she going to last? It's not like to say the chick was dancing hard or anything. She was just walking back and forth across the stage which means she shouldn't have sounded as bad as she did. There are soooo many talented youngsters out there who try to get a record deal. You see them on American Idol and the X-Factor, but they always get knocked back. They have the talent but their dreams get destroyed for the whole world to see. I supported Cassie for quite a while now but after seeing this performance, the question that should be asked is whether such support is warranted. If she was auditioning on American Idol and Simon Cowell saw this performance, I don't even think he'd waste his saliva spitting on her. His stern look would be so ferocious, she would know when to walk out and not ask any more questions. I love her music (well, at least the beats) but other than that, what valid reason can you have for supporting someone when they are just ... cute?

God... I couldn't even go into the first 30 seconds of the "performance". Had to shut that YouTube window straightaway because that was both painful and shameful :-(. The songs in her album are quite nice and sport a refreshing sound, but this performance has uncovered just how really talentless she is. Her people should learn from that experience never to put her back again on live TV. Ever.

I totally agree with you I had the misforturne to actually watch it on TV. I rarely watch BET b/c the network is crappy but I was surfing and ran across Assie. I was like she needs to stop. I felt embarassed for her. The funny part was when the new hosts tried to hype up her performance like it was the shit.
What I don't understand is Diddy puts the smack down on the girls on Making the Band. He does not take any half stepping from them but he can't put a foot in Assie's behind. My farts sound better than Cassie. She is horrible. Even she didn't look confident in her own performance. She must give some good like Karrine "Supahead" Steffans b/c outside of that and the fact that she is pretty I can't find a good reason why anyone would sign her.

On Flex, he read into a lot, but that is what his show is about. I realized that after I was done with the show. I personally don't feel that I need to talk about this "unofficial video" again (right now). But quickly, it was a bad look that got leaked on the internet. No, I DID NOT leak it....I don't care for that video, I never have cared for it. Bow and Omarion are great guys and it was wrong of me to talk about them on air. I had no bad intentions with what I said on them, but I can understand how it would upset people. Again, I've met them both and they are very sweet and kind.
The rate from 1 to 10 was BS. It didn't mean anything to me. None of them were right if I had really thought them through, but how would you feel if you were on live radio with Flex. I do wish that I said no to the suggestion of the "game." Personal apologies go out to any of the artists that were offended by their rating-they weren't real, none of them.
Oh and lastly, I am aware that my live performances have been pretty bad....no excuses, I'm still getting over stage fright.
