That video is better Deja Vu, but not by much and it seems kind of cheap. They could have shown her getting arrested or something, it would have made it more interesting. When she's in the white coat and dress, it reminds me of the scene from Basic Instinct with Sharon Stone.
I dont like the director's view on the video. It seemed a little tacky. Yet it is a little better than De Ja Vu, but i wouldnt say it was a job well done
Hmm, I really liked the video... in fact I LOVED it! I think Beyonce acted stellar in it! Loved all the different looks, and each scene was simple enough for me to focus on Beyonce and her acting as opposed to everything around her.

I agree with those who didn't like the video. It was horrid too me. Who ever edited the video did not do a good job, because the story line was very hard too pick up fist view. Wayyy too much was going on. I do agree they should have atleasted showed her getting arrested. Because it didn't end as if she got away.

I loved the video. Not EVERYONE will get it obviously because SOME PEOPLE would rather Beyonce do the "OH OH" dance for the next 100 years. I RESPECT the fact that Bee is doing something different. Almost 10 years since she came out wth Destiny's Child I think we can cut her some slack and let her explore more of her creativity. The video fit the lyrics of the song perfectly. She convinced me that she was a crazy killing cold-hearted bitch in that video. GO BEYONCE. I will be buying the album. I'm happy she's taking chances.

It's better than "Deja vu" because it has some direction and correlates to the song, but it feels empty just like the song - like something's missing.
But I still think a club video woulda been better (if somewhat predictable for the song). Somethin' dark kinda like Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" video. The crazy dancing she dropped in "Deja vu" shoulda been put to use in this video.

The vid is better than Deja Vu but I think that if someone don't like it then they have the right to their opinion. And how in the world MIKE if someone don't like it , it makes them ungrateful, what kind of mess is that. She could of went on vacation and I still wouldn't care. Her making a video doesn't break me or make me. That is like saying hey Paris Hilton made a song and took time out to make it, so we have to be grateful and like it. I shoulda also say that alot of these "leaked" Kelis albums are web rips and are missing the intro and a track or two. I don't know if Toya's version is the same, but just be aware of it.
I love her album - I think it's so fresh. MUCH better than "Tasty" and even "Wanderland" (which I thought was hot!) I just think it's a shame it wasn't released earlier, bang in the middle of the Summer.
