Ring The Alarm - Beyonce [Download: radio rip]
The song is too aggressive, the beat keeps switching up, the sirens make me want to bang my head against a brick wall. She is screaming too much. The bridge of the song is way too incongruous, too much is going on with it. Too busy for my taste. Plus, it does seem like she was trying to emulate Kelis with Caught Out There. Not saying I hate it or anything but she could've done better. It doesn't hit you like Crazy In Love. I think I like Deja Vu better, but the Beyonce songs I'm not keen on always do great so maybe this is a good thing. If the video is hot, the song will be very successful. I need to hear the song in HQ though but then again, I don't think that would make a blind bit of difference.
In other Beyonce news, Rap-up.com reports that Beyonce's management has had a change of heart and therefore Ring The Alarm will NOT be the 2nd single. It's going to be a toss up between the Neptunes' "Green Light" or Swizz Beatz's "Get Me Bodied" instead. A video has already been shot for "Ring The Alarm," so I'm taking it Ring The Alarm may be released at a later date.
This project is nothing short of pure disasters. They just don't have a clue. Maybe if this CD wasn't so rushed, the album would've been better and more time could've been invested in proposing a better video treatment and better songs. Just not looking great at all.

Toya! Poor Beyoncé!!! Everything seems to be going bad for her. Let's name her misfortunes:
PETA's incident. The Album Cover (It's plain hideous). Deja Vu's video (It hurts me to see it). The sabotage attempt of Letoya's sales. Now this. Next thing for her is what? Pulling off a "Glitter" or a Bennifer-like breakup with her man. This is terribly sad since Beyoncé is a great entertainer, a particularly good singer and a gorgeous looking woman. She's gonna face somewhat of a "sophomore slump" big time... So sad... She hasn't looked anymore beautiful...
(Cof Cof, she should take a page of Jay-Z's book in making a fast AND GREAT album just like he did in "The Blueprint")

i hope they push the album back. it does not seem ready. maybe beyonce should take a break... she been around since forever, first dc, following movie plus soundtrack (austin powers), first solo record, another movie with another soundtrack (fighting temptations), dc, another movie with another soundtrack (pink panther), another movie with another soundtrack (dreamgirls), now new record comin up - take a break girl.
i am really bored of her doing movies and singing the theme song... now this it-seems-to-fast-released record.
right now, i like letoya more than bee who is getting annoying with seeking for constantly media attention.

I hope this project does get pushed back. Beyonce is capable of quality material, but she always tries to rush out her albums in between the million other things she's doing.
I think that if she wants to do music, she should take some time off from movise and whatnot and just do music. This project could have been amazing, but it's been handled badly from the start.
Kelly should have released her album as originally planned, and Beyonce should have taken longer to get hers together.
About The Song, "Ring The Alarm": I didn't understand it either :-? but basically she's MAD ASS HELL because U spend all that time grooming Ur man into Ur own and her cheats on U so Beyonce is gonna "Ring The Alarm" on that bitch sort of like the "Jay-Z & Rhianna" situation, Beyonce is not havin it and she gettin CRUNK! But that is what the song is about I kno it's hard 2 understand with the screaming..LoL But I like it...it grows on U but I definitly agree with Toya "If the video is hot, in essense, then the song will be successful." Im going to have to disagree and agree at the same time on this one. I listened to the song about 10 times now and Im starting to like it. It helps once you read the lyrics and listen to it. It reminds me of the so-called Jay-Z and Rihanna situation. "I'll be damned if see another chick on your arm" The lyrics are deep (http://www.requestlyrics.com/read.php?1,693012,693012) but if the video is hotttt this song is going to be fiyahh! But I do agree that she rushed the album and I think for your sophomore album should be carefully thought. Im not sure if she released it just to compare to letoya when she should have known that she would come out on top regardless. Letoya can't hold a candle to her vocals, performance, choreography, looks, and overall, so it she would have taken the extra months then it might be better but who's to say the album will hopefully be fire. I agree with Lejawn. This song is too agressive for me. After Déjà vu, it should have been a more "peaceful" song. Since then, for this new album, it's not love at 1st listen. We're very, very far from big hits like Crazy in love, Naughty boy... Beyonccé maybe wants to release something very different, but can a good album be really written in 2 weeks, and all by herself ? I think she's doing too much things, and that she should concentrate. Music, movies, pub, clothes, that's too much and she begins to show, in my opinion, less quality in what she's doing. I think too we see her too much and that people could be bored if this goes on like this. She's a goddess because she has a voice, a body, a face which are incredible. But I don't like anything I heard or seen since the beginning of the upcoming B'day album. And I think she should keep Jay-Z in her private life and stop working with him too. The bad girl attitude doesn't fit for her. Sorry if my english is so-so, as it's not my mothertongue.
"B'day" will go #1, but I can't see it topping "Dangerously in love" in terms of sales, Grammy wins and run of singles.
Beyonce's solo material to me has always been so-so. She always comes with the same style. She said she recorded "B'Rubbish" I MEAN "B'day" in 2 weeks and based on the singles, it shows. It's like she's on autopilot. Just churning out the same ol', same ol'.
I think Kelly needs to make good use of her extra time to tighten up her album, scoop a good treatment for her first video and really hit hard for when her time comes, because she has a real chance to shine. LeToya's success should give her the drive to show there is life after Destiny's Child.
Also becksss, I disagree, I think "Destiny fulfilled" was a brilliant record. The production and the vocals on that record were tight as hell! Even if you didn't like the mid tempo vibe they went for - you can't take away the fact that vocally, it was their best record (Lose my breath and Soldier aside!)
I should also add, I am a DC fan and Beyonce is one of the most talented chicks in the game PERIOD. She works hard and grafts. She deserves the success she has right now. It's just we all know she can come better this and that she's capable of so much more. Had any other artist dropped "Deja Vu" or "Ring the alarm" as a single, they'd be good. But in the hands of Beyonce, it's like "Aww c'mon B, you can do MUCH better than this!"
As much as I'm liking the stable of producers she reeled in for "B'Day", it woulda been nice for her to have worked with people she hadn't worked with before. Based on what Bryan Michael Cox is doin' right now, I woulda loved for her to have cut a track with him. And ever since "Get on the bus" I've been HOPING that DC or individual members would hook up again with Timbaland.
Did anyone see this somewhere else besides rap-up.com? I doubt this is any more than a rumor since she's already scheduled to perform RTA at the VMA's on the 31st. I think I'll stick to what I've heard from major sources rather than some site that I had never heard of until today.
B'Day has been rushed, but it's almost to the point where if Beyonce recorded herself on the toilet it would make the top 5.
Nevertheless Ring The Alarm is a hot track and doesn't sound like any of Beyonce's prior works/recordings.

geesh some people are just rude. if you don't like what's being said on this site then maybe you should stick to whatever supposed " reliable source " you have. i think toya just posts it like she gets it . nowhere in her statement did she say this info is true.
as for this song, i dislike it as much as deja vu. i'm not a big beyonce fan , but i think she has talent and judging from the material on her first album , yes she can do better than these two songs that are out . instead of putting out quality music , her and her record compnay are too busy trying to cock block letoya's success and that greediness could probably cost her in the long run.
I that RTA was pulled. It's not on the Yahoo LAUNCH site anymore. I heard that it was because of the feedback from radio stations and forums.

Parts of me wished this was her first single! Yeah, i like it that much. So much emotion, it sends chills up my spine on some of the notes she hits.

Beyonce' can do soooo much better!One day she be on my nerves,somedays I like her.I don't get how she says she put her heart and soul in her album and it only took 2 weeks.I see about 2-4 months but 2 weeks?Now,I'm just gonna wait till her album leaks and if I like what I hear I buy her album,like I do everybody else.Like Christina A. I also did not like it, she probably thought hey my man did it and it was ok maybe I can. That is what happens when you become too arrogant with your skills. Greatness comes with time. People probably gonna buy the album anyway because many people just love jumping on the bandwagon. If I don't like something then I ain't gonna buy it and can't nobody make me. Shit I love Kelis but that new song is crap too and I hope later down the line that I will love it because I love Kelis style.
