Keyshia Cole is gearing up to release her anticipated sophomore album Just Like You which is set to drop 25th September 2007. Here are some promo pictures for the new album:
I am really excited about this album because her debut The Way It Is was hotter than hell and still is to this day. I still play that album as if that joint is newly released, so good the album is that I'm not even sure if she'll be able to top it with this one, but my anticipation for it is mighty high. Plus her latest single Let It Go which features Missy and Lil Kim is continuing to steam up the charts. As previously reported Keyshia is currently working on the second series of her BET reality show The Way It Is 2 and just like many other R&B diva's who are giving acting a go (Cassie, Ciara, Ashanti, Mariah, Janet, Alicia Keys, etc), she will be making her movie debut in the MTV-production How She Moves, out early next year. Now as for the thing about every R&B singer getting into movies, I think it's unfair that so many potential actors and actresses pay thousands to attend acting schools and spend years perfecting their acting skills, yet all these movie roles are being given to R&B singers with little acting experience all because it is believed their name and musical popularity will market the movie. And 90% of the time they're not even that believable in their roles.
