FRIDAY CRUMBS ...

Ciara has unleashed some new promo shots from her new album Ciara: The Evolution, and I like them, although they are looking very Aaliyah-ish. First, she mirrored Aaliyah's footwork with her Promise video and now the promo shots. This shoot kinda reminds me of that shoot Aaliyah did for Tommy Hilfiger with the baggy pants and showing off the Tommy Hilfiger underwear. I am dead certain Ciara was inspired by that shoot. Aaliyah has been there, done that and basically, I think it's about time she explored something new because the Aaliyah inspiration has now become into a complete Aaliyah obsession.

I am also calling for Like A Boy to be the next single after Promise because that song is HOT!

Alicia with Iman and Kimora:

On 9th November 2006, Conde Nast Media Group Presents "The Black Ball" to Benefit Keep A Child Alive which was hosted by the beautiful Alicia Keys and Iman. I'm not feeling Alicia's bangs though but the ceremony looked like it went down really well which included a host of performances from David Bowie, Damien Marley, Alicia herself and others.

On the same day, Beyonce and her fella, Jay-Z celebrated the One-Year Anniversary of the 40/40 Club in New York. Beyonce looks beautiful as usual, although I would love to see her with a different hair colour.

Beyonce also made an appearance at MTV's "TRL".

On 9th November 2006, Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony attended the event of Singers and Songs Celebration of Tony Bennett's 80th to Benefit Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Camps.

More Britney appearances and she doesn't look so good. Personally, I think that she's putting on one big false pretence that she's okay and that she's getting on with her life just fine. I think that deep down this whole divorce thing is hitting her REAL hard but she chooses to play it down for the camera's, and these pictures which show her looking rough exemplify that. According to certain reports, Kevin is expected to get 2 million from Britney's divorce settlement but he is demanding 16 million and full custody of the kids. Well, considering that he had spent all his time partying in Vegas and leaving Britney at home to hold the babies, a judge really will grant him that since he played the responsible father role so well *lol*. He doesn't stand a chance, but it's highly likely that he'll get visiting rights.

Shar Jackson who is the mother of his two children (Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2, ) has spoken about the divorce and surprisingly she didn't sound that bitter. "I hope that they are mature enough to realize that their differences come second to the needs of their children and that it is no longer about them as individuals, but about maintaining a healthy friendship/relationship for the sake of their children," she says. She recently told Inside Edition that she saw no obvious discord between the couple the last time she saw them on Halloween at Federline's album release party. She adds: "They seemed happy to me" she said. "[Britney] gave me a hug and told me I looked cute. I don't know what their situation is or why he wants to get custody of his children other than the fact that he loves them," Jackson told Inside Edition. "Maybe, it goes deeper than that. Maybe it's because of all the press about her mothering."
