NE-YO MEANS BUSINESS

Ne-yo may give you diarrhoea whenever you feast your eyes on him, but at just 23, the man is talented as hell. He actually produced the soundtrack to Save The Last Dance 2 which features new music from R&B queens Rihanna, Keyshia Cole and Mya. In the MTV movie which premieres 17th November, Ne-yo plays himself which also stars Izabella Miko, Columbus Short, Ian Brennan and Ray J.

His monumental bank balance is expanding to huge capacity as he's done a spot of producing for the new Britney Spears album. "I've got a midtempo song that might go to Britney Spears," he says "We didn't really get to work like we were supposed to because of the paparazzi. As soon as she hopped out the limo [for the recording session], she got bombarded by guys taking pictures. So she got back in the limo and drove off".

Ne-yo has already produced tracks for Rihanna and Jojo and he's also working on tracks for Teairra Mari, Jay-Z and Enrique Iglesias. He has already started brainstorming ideas for his own sophomore release, due in '07. What for I ask. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't have to record another album for as long as he lives.
