Fabulous Hip chick Mariah Carey was in London this week to attend her 'Pinko' Photocall and looked absolutely hot hot hot. After the photocall, she later attended her Pinko Cocktail party and partied away with the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell amongst other celebrities who attended the event. Mariah said: "I'm really flattered to have been asked to be the new face of Pinko. I first discovered this spectacular fashion house while working in Italy, in my favourite place in the world, the Isle of Capri. I immediately became a huge fan of the brand, and I bought almost everything in the store. So as you can imagine, when I was approached about doing the Pinko campaign I was beyond excited" The 36-year-old added: "The clothes are so stylish and fun, and I'm really looking forward to our new venture together." A spokeswoman for Pinko wouldn't say exactly how much the star is getting paid, but hinted: "It's a very, very big deal." It's thought her contract will rival the £7 million deal Madonna signed with Versace. Previous faces of Pinko have included supermodels Elle Macpherson, Eva Herzigova and Naomi Campbell. [SOURCE]

I love Mariah and cannot wait for her new music. But most of all I think that Mariah being put on board for the Pinko campaign will do the fashion house good considering that Mariah puts out music that appeals to the young audience. Her messages will be sent out to her legions of young fans and I guess the fashion house is hoping that this same appeal will rub off onto their campaign.

Here, she was at her photocall sporting a pair of Pinko jeans which are said to be worth $5,000 but the pair Mariah were wearing would be sold in a similar style but at a more affordable price:

Mariah was mobbed by the London crowds, was more than happy to sign autographs and even striked a couple of poses for the camera's. Now that's the diva Mariah we like!

As I reported this week, Jennifer Lopez was honored by Amnesty International for producing and starring in Bordertown, a new film examining the murders of women in a Mexican border city. She was honored by East Timor's Prime Minister Jose Ramos-Horta, a Nobel Peace laureate. The 38-year-old singer-actress plays an investigative journalist reporting on the serial killings of women in Ciudad Juarez, on Mexico's border with the U.S. The movie Bordertown is directed by Gregory Nava and also stars Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen. The movie premiered on Thursday at the Berlin film festival. Jennifer looked absolutely stunning when she attended the 57th Berlinale International Film Festival to promote her movie Bordertown and promote the movie was EXACTLY what she did, as she attended certain events this week:

And then there was the Bordertown premiere afterparty which also took place in Berlin. OK, so Jenny has her highs and lows because she's back to looking her top notch best again.

Keyshia Cole and her fuzzy carot-top hair made an appearance at her boo Young Jeezy's party bash.

If I'd known any better, I'd say Ms Cole has just been tangoed.

This week, Ray-J attended the Hennessy X.O. Valentine's Day Celebration hosted by Maurice Hennessy and Kanye West but a Valentine's Day appreciation was one thang he certainly didn't get after it was reported Whitney Houston dumped him in light of his leaked sex tape which he had made with ex-grlfriend Kim Kardashian:

But with two lovely young women showering him with some attention, it was more of a case of Whitney who?

Our favourite gal Beyonce was in Las Vegas this week to see the kick off to All-Star Weekend. As usual, Beyonce brought her mama and sister along to The Magic Convention, being the loving and close-nit family that they truly are:

Solange looked lovely. Black hair really does bring out her good looks. And since we're on the topic of Solange, there were internet rumours this week about Kelly Rowland's album getting pushed back so that Solange could re-release her debut album Solo Star. But this doesn't make sense considering that Solange updated her Myspace recently to announce that she is working on her SOPHOMORE album which would be the follow-up to Solo Star. There were NO mention of any re-releases so to me the story sounded dodgy. And even if it were true, I hope Kelly isn't dumb enough to withhold her career once again for the Knowles clan because it's pretty clear to see that they're not thinking about HER ass. Seriously, the chick needs to grow a backbone. I will NEVER forget how they were trying to push back Kelly's debut Simply Deep so that Beyonce could be the one to come out with her Dangerously In Love album. Little did they know that her duet with Nelly would be a monster hit, not just monster, but Godzilla meets Hong Kong kind of huge. So they fast-tracked Kelly's album in the hope that it would sell off the Nelly collabo hype . And it wasn't even her song. It was Nelly's. But anyway, I don't believe the story and my sources tell me that Kelly's new single BUMP LIKE THIS has already impacted radio and I was provided with the radio rip which I posted in a previous entry so check it out [HERE].

This week, producer/rapper Pharrell Williams had joined former Vice President Al Gore, former Live 8 executive producer Kevin Wall, actress Cameron Diaz and the MSN Network in the Save Our Selves (SOS) campaign:

She was spotted playing pool with Vivicia Foxx. I wonder if she were any good. Anyway, she looked great. It seems like she's lost a bit of weight as well.
