Yesterday, Jennifer Hudson also attended and sang at Clive Davis' 2007 Pre-GRAMMY Awards Party Rehearsals. Justin Timberlake attended the event as well:
Clive Davis wanted Whitney Houston to perform at his annual pre- Grammy party tomorrow at the Beverly Hills Hotel, but I am reading reports that Whitney will not be attending as she is not ready to sing in public just yet. Instead, Jennifer Hudson may sing in her honour. The Grammy Awards should be an interesting show. On Sunday night, I will be reviewing who wore the best frocks/outfits, who had the best hair, who looked clean and slick, who didn't and so forth.

The Hip Hop/R&B diva is expected to dominate pop music's most prestigious awards show and is up for prizes in eight categories, including both record and song of the year, where "Be Without You" is up against entries from James Blunt, Gnarls Barkley, The Dixie Chicks and Corinne Bailey Rae. Her platinum-selling The Breakthrough is also expected to snag the best R&B album award. To date, the album has sold more than 2.7 million copies in the United States alone since its release at the end of 2005.

1. Here's some exclusive Kelly Rowland news and this info is straight from MusicWorld & Sony/BMG so yeah it's official. Kelly's first single has been changed from "Put It In" to "Like This" featuring Eve. Two versions are going to radio late this month, one with Eve, the other without. The track is written by Kelly & Sean Garrett. Expect the single to leak to radio late this month.2. According to MTV, Claudette Ortiz is reported to be releasing her debut album this spring on Interscope Records. On the new album, it will boast collaborations with rappers The Game & Fabulous, production from her husband Ryan Toby as well as work from producers Dre & Vidal, Trackmasters, Bryan Michael Cox, The Underdogs, Stargate and Tank.
