'Me & U' was certified Platinum the year it was released (2006), so the fact that she's only now just getting a plaque is criminal. The track was produced by Cassie's then boyfriend Ryan Leslie and debuted in April 2006. It stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the top forty for five months. Ever since splitting with Diddy, getting married and having kids, Cassie has been very lowkey. Her career deserved so much better. Sadly, her loyalty to Diddy was her downfall and just like most artists signed to Bad Boy, she was one of many that just didn't survive the Diddy curse.
