Ashanti looked like she had a whole lot of fun during Fat Joe's 52nd birthday party at the new Brooklyn Chop House over the weekend. She was just relieved to know Irv Gotti's invite got lost in the post.
But nothing could distract from the catapillar eyebrows and Drag Queen make-up. Giiirl, you're far pretty for that. Less is more! She performed a mini set there too, with Mary J. Blige and other famous faces in attendance. It's cute how Fat Joe shows love, appreciation, and respect for Ashanti, but it's a bit disappointing that she refused to tell her side of history in the Murder Inc doc. Irv Gotti is a washed up old man who is clearly still severely bitter that he is no longer relevant. However, that’s even more reason for why she shouldn’t let a man like that tell her story. Ja Rule and Fat Joe can only do so much.

Irv is the executive producer of the doc. She doesn’t trust him for good reason and thus chose not to be in the doc. She’s working on her own doc to tell her own story.
