Irv Gotti has been making headlines this week after his explosive revelations towards Ashanti. On multiple occasions, he brings up their sexual relationship during the height of her success when he made her a star (he discusses this with N.O.R.E’s ‘Drink Champs,’ as well as Page Six.)
He claims that Ashanti’s hit record ‘Happy’ was created right after the two of them had sex and that ever since leaving his Murder Inc. label, she hasn't had another hit since.
Following these explosive revelations, Fat Joe took to his own platform to call out Ja Rule for not standing up for Ashanti when Gotti was making these comments. Ja Rule later went on Instagram to say he does not condone Gotti's attacks and that he loves his little sister. Ashanti simply responded with a few heart emojis, as well as some praying hands.
Ashanti has refused to publicly comment on the attacks, which is probably why Gotti went on a week long rampage with his unhinged rants. He was clearly trying to provoke a public response but I like that she continues to post gorgeous photos of herself living her best life and not paying that petty little man dust.
