All the stops were pulled, because during Survivor, ex-Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined their girl and then her fella Jay-Z joined her in their collaboration Upgrade U. Of course the night wasn't going to end without Kelly and Michelle singing "happy birthday" to the B'Day girl. Seeing them together just makes me realise how much I miss Destiny's Child as a group.
Yesterday, Ashanti and her man Nelly attended the St. Louis at the famous Black and White Ball:
Ashanti HAS put on some weight, which would explain why she didn't want to be seen out in public as of late, but she looks thickalicious. Not fat, not skinny. Just right. Or maybe Nelly is hitting it right who knows, but chick looks real good! At the event, Ashanti was confronted by the press about the Irv Gotti situation as she gracefully walked the carpet but she firmly said "no comment". When asked if she has ever has ever had any sexual or love related relationship with Irv Gotti she responded with another, "No comment". LOL! Ashanti's publicist later requested that no questions be asked about the Gotti situation and that Ashanti would only answer questions about her upcoming music and movie appearances. My question is, what is going on with her latest album The Declaration?
EDITED: Ashanti's new album will be released in DECEMBER.
