For weeks, rumours have been strife that Britney was highly likely to perform at the VMA's this coming Sunday. And after keeping quiet for the remainder of those weeks, MTV have FINALLY announced that Britney WILL perform at the VMA's in 3 days time.

Britney will open up the show with her new single Gimme More. Jesse Ignjatovic, the executive producer of this year's VMAs says that Britney will "KILL IT" (yup, those are his EXACT words).
