R&B CELEBS AT THE FASHION ROCKS SHOW....

Last night, the annual Fashion Rocks concert certainly went down at New York's Radio City Music Hall where there was performances from R&B's hottest stars as well as many surprise duet performances. I am going to make two celebrity picture posts today because there's too many images to post. This one is solely dedicated to the Fashion Rocks Show and I'll do a separate post for "today's latest R&B Celeb spottings" in an upcoming post. The show airs tonight in the US at 9PM ET/PT on CBS. Of course I'm going to start with my girl Alicia Keys who looked absolutely gorgeous:



I am also ecstatic to report that Alicia will also perform at MTV Video Music Awards on September 9 in Las Vegas! She will be performing her new single "No One"! I got a good feeling that the VMA's is going to be really hot this year, with performances from Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Alicia herself, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Kanye West, how can ratings not skyrocket this time round? 2 days to go! The video for Alicia's new single No One will be shot really soon and will be directed by Justin Francis. I've never heard of him before but I'm pretty sure he'll do nice things with it being it's Alicia. Anyway check out more fabtacular images of the event after the cut.

Alicia performed as well:



She duetted with Carlos Santana. Question is, what the hell are those on her feet? I love her but what would she have done without her piano?

Ashanti was there too:



Wow. She looked absolutely hot. This is the best weave job I have seen in a very long time. Many R&B chicks can stand to use Shanti as an example. Beyonce included.

Mya was also at the event:



Yahoo has scrapped her "Ridin'" video from their premiere schedule for reasons clearly obvious. Why don't they just release the album for the fans and if it flops it flops. I guess this little misshap didn't stop her from looking lovely though.

Ciara graced the event with her presence as well:



She looked gorgeous. Everybody appears to have been ON POINT last night. I like her weave and the new hair colour. As long as she doesn't get any lighter, it's all good.

Jennifer Hudson performed with Joe Perry:



It looks like she put on the weight again. Her arms are really flabby. Not a good look. She did look nice during her red carpet moment.

Jennifer Lopez absolutely glowed:



I like that dress.

And she also performed at the event as well. Her performance looked like it was really spectacular:




Well, her live performances need to be stepped up because she hasn't been impressing me as of late and her music hasn't been on par either.

Mary J Blige attended:




.... as well as performed a duet with R&B king Usher. Oh, and her rep denied that she is pregnant.

Fergie performed and duetted with Ludacris and Steven Tyler:



Looking better than she usually does but there's something about her that's just plain weird ....

Kat Deluna showed up too:



What is up with her face? She is only 20 but she is looking more like 35 here. The show airs tonight at 9PM ET/PT on CBS so hopefully, all performances should be up later tonight or early tomorrow. Watch this space.
