Here's the day we've all been waiting for. X-Factor winner Leona Lewis's new single Bleeding Love (produced by Ryan "Alias" Tedder) can now be heard exclusively. The track got it's first airplay on Radio 1 a couple of minutes ago.
Sounds like a late 80's early 90's synth-pop ballad also channeling Celine Dion/Mariah Carey. I am not hearing much edge from Leona herself. Maybe this will be more indicative on the new album. It's definitely a grower with mainstream appeal, which is probably what is needed to kick-start her career. SonyBMG Syco Music have brought forward the release date of Leona's new single to 22nd October 2007 (Download from 21st October) so it will launch off the back of her performance on the X Factor on 20th October. Everyone is now able to pre-order the download of the single which became available from yesterday (15th September). The X-Factor winner is on course to release her debut album on 5th November and February 2008 in the US.
