On that same day, Mya was spotted at the Henri Bendel 'Brown and White Ball' 100 Birthday Bash looking all cute and sassy. I love the curls by the way. They certainly bring out her prettier side. It's a shame not much consistency is put into her promotion as much as her attendance at all of these fashion events. Um, how is that going to help her album to sell when it drops 23rd October? Alicia's people are doing the damn thang with hers but then she is a favourite at J Records because they shit on Monica and Fantasia. Plus, Motown sucks. But as I was saying, Alicia's promo is onto a high flyer - her performance at Fashion Rocks and the VMA's as well as her TRL appearance and the constant magazine features is absolutely tremendous. It'll be a miracle if she doesn't touch the 500K mark in her first week and with Britney's meltdown at the VMA's, I guess some of the Britney hype has waned so Alicia need not fear. But she need not have feared anyway because she is a stellar seller and always has been.
Ha! I see the damage control has started in Britney's camp already. Jive has ordered You Tube and Daily Motion to remove her VMA performance off their servers to spare her any more embarrassment. Hmmmmm. As if You Tube and Daily Motion are the only video sites that exist. They may be the top ones but not the only ones. That performance is STILL very trackable for the world to see and now they are trying to forget about the disastrous performance by concentrating on her new album. Apparently Jive has sent out new album tracks to PEOPLE (and Entertainment Weekly) just to create album buzz. Too late bitches. And no sooner before that, a knicker-less Britney displays her hairless crotch all over again. WTF is wrong with her?

And speaking of Jennifer Lopez, yesterday she presented her new clothing line "Just Sweet" during her Fashion Week stint. Nothing short of tackiness I bet. And judging by that last picture, she is definitely pregnant:
3 months at least. And I know that having a baby is something Jen has always wanted from time to time but it just wasn't happening due to her thyroid problem. Maybe it's too early for a congrats and they don't want to make the official announcement until they are completely out of the first tremester danger zone but I'll say congrats to her anyway ..... and Halle Berry (who made her announcement last week).

Her man Shia was also at the VMA's to see his woman perform. They aint slick, always "coincidently" wounding up at the same events. On TV, he looks like a nerd but he was looking so damn hot here. I aint mad at Rihanna though. She's done good for herself, nabbing Hollywood's newest white heart-throb. Rihanna will also be making an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Thursday.
