A new track from Craig David's upcoming new album 'Trust Me' has presented itself and it's called "1 of 6 thing". This track is sounding more like the vintage Craig that I've grown to love over the years, and is much better than his current single which is actually called "Hot Stuff" (and NOT "Let's Dance" as previously reported) although it does sample the David Bowie hit of that same name.
'Hot Stuff' is scheduled for physical release on November 5th & available to download from October 29th. His 4th studio album Trust Me will be released 12th November in the UK. The track '6 of 1 Thing' is said to emphasise how Cuban musical culture influenced his new work, whilst the ballad 'Awkward' (highlighting guest vocals from a female west London star-to-be) features some of his most evocative lyrics to date. As well as 6 of 1 Thing, other highlights include what is described to be the "infectious hook" and "insistent rhythms" of the title track, and "She's On Fire" which reportedly combines "sublime bass with Craig's fluid lyrical flow". ‘Trust Me’ will be introduced with a selection of intimate live shows planned for next month. Further details of these will be announced upon their confirmation.
