JENNIFER WAS GOING TO BE A NO-SHOW AT SOUL TRAIN AWARDS

According to the NY Post the Oscar winner was set to perform at the "Soul Train Awards" show in Los Angeles but wanted to flake in the last minute. "Jennifer called Friday and said she couldn't make it," said a source. At that time, "Soul Train" producer Don Cornelius called "the man" Clive Davis, next thing you know it she was there. "Clive called Jennifer and read her the riot act. He said, 'Get your ass out to L.A.' and then hung up on her." The threatening call from Davis worked because "she showed up." The night wasn't so bad because Hudson was presented the Sammy Davis Jr. Award for Entertainer of the Year.

What do ya'll make of that? Like I were saying in another post, she has become A-List celebrity now. What A-Listers were a part of the weekend ceremony back in California? In my opinion, she should have stuck to her guns and not have turned up, because that's what the BIG dawgs do. They snub ALL the Z-list Award ceremonies, like Beyonce.
