Monica has a new mixtape out called "Made". I don't really like mixtapes because they are usually tackily put together when the artist can be heard singing on overused Hip Hop beats. And Monica was no exception to this. I thought the mixtape was pretty disastrous. I didn't like the remixes and the only track that deserved the time of day was So In Love. Unless you love dancing at nightclubs, you probably won't fully appreciate this CD. An album like this doesn't take deep analysis or contains deep thoughts. It's urbanized dance music at best, pure and simple with the few unappealing midtempo's here and there. And judged on that scale, I'd say it was a home run.
