The beautiful and talented R&B singer Tamia has just announced on her official Myspace that she and hubby Grant Hill are expecting their second child. A massive congratulations to them both. Myla is absolutely gorgeous!

More than 72,000 people packed Reliant Stadium to see hometown superstar Beyonce perform at Rodeo Houston. Rodeo officials said it was the fifth largest crowd in the event's history. The energy filled concert kicked off with her signature hit "Crazy in Love". It was Beyonce's second solo performance at the rodeo having previously performed with Destiny's Child. Then she attended her mama's House Of Demoronic store where she participated in a media conference:

Cute cute cute. But Rachel Hunter, Rod Stewart's ex found NOTHING cute about Beyonce for "ruining the dreams of aspiring models". She fumes: "For years now we have seen people on the covers of magazines that aren't models, they are actresses and it's disappointing. Sports Illustrated this year had Beyonce Knowles on the cover. What's left for young girls to aspire to if they want to be models? Not much!" Damn. Is it that serious? Hell no. And at least Beyonce is representing the curvies putting an end to the theory that stick-thin models are the only ones who can do this type of work. Apparently, Beyonce made history by being selected to be the first non-model to be featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
Ciara attended the album release party of rapper Rich Boy and looked refreshingly natural. I was loving her look:
She is really pretty without all the make-up. Oh and Ciara may retire music at 25 because that is when she wants to have her first baby. She says: "I'm looking forward to that day when Prince Charming is in my life. I know it sounds cheesy. But one of my goals is to have a solid family and have kids. I want to have my first child by 25. That's not too young, is it? I want five kids, and there's no way I can have five kids and start too late." Wow. She will need to get out of her "wanting to be Like A Boy" phase if she's going to even go there but I remember Beyonce saying this during Survivor era: "Oh imma retire at 23" and chick still can't get married and pop out a camel baby.
I don't know what she's been doing to herself lately but she needs to stick with it. This chick has been on top of her game over the past couple of months. I think it was the stress of being in Destiny's Child that made her look quite daunting but now she looks happy and healthy and is glowing. Her boyfriend Billy Dec must be really making her happy. Billy is the one wearing the black cap.
Finally, the woman with the mouth a frog would be proud of was spotted prancing around New York City after she did a rehearsal for The Color Purple:

R&B Crumbs: Jennifer Hudson to play Aretha Franklin? (my thoughts)
A musical production, based on the life of the soul singer Aretha Franklin is already in the works with auditions set to happen this May in Detroit. Last night, however, Aretha revealed to Access Hollywood that she has already been approached by several studios who want to take her autobiography and put it on the big screen. Aretha confirmed Jennifer Hudson was one name suggested for her role. If we're talking raw talent, I think Jennifer would be perfect for the role because obviously the movie will showcase a barrage of performances as to when Aretha was starting to get huge. And it would mean they wouldn't need to find an actress to mime Aretha's music because Jennifer will SANG the hell out of an Aretha track. However, one objective. She will need to eat 10 burgers a day to look the part. It shouldn't be a hard task now that Burger King has given her a free-burgers-for-life membership. Not being mean. I'm just saying, because Aretha makes Jennifer look like Naomi Campbell. Other than that, give the role to Jennifer!
