THURSDAY'S R&B RUN-DOWN ...

It's been an extremely busy week for Will Smith and his family as they trotted all over Europe to promote his new movie Pursuit of Happyness. In the United States, the movie has so far grossed a staggering $124.2 million dollars. This week, I posted pictures where Will Smith was in London and Germany to attend the premieres for the movie. Jaden is already attracting screaming girl fans and their screams of adulation were not aimed at his handsome father this time, but the cute little fella himself who will no doubt grow up to be a little heartbreaker. Will Smith was definitely in that kissable mood as not only did he plant a full on lip kiss to his gorgeous wife Jada but he gave his son a right smacker on the lips too, which I thought was rather cute. Aww! I am so in love with this family. They are everything that a REAL family should be.

Justin Timberlake kick started his tour on Tuesday night in San Diego, California. The gig took place at San Diego's iPayOne sports arena. It was a sell-out tour which saw him performing a string of old and new songs from his latest new album FutureSex/LoveSounds. As last Tuesday was his idol's birthday, he paid tribute to the not so great but hugely overrated artist Elvis Presely by singing the track Heartbreak Hotel:

This showed that Justin was definitely pining after Cameron Diaz whom he split up with during the Christmas period. It seems this fool likes to pimp out his past relationships for his musical interests but dedicating yet ANOTHER song to his ex Britney Spears shows that he is a bigger pining fool than EVER. There was his infamous Cry Me A River video with a Britney lookalike playing Britney Spears. The video showed him breaking into her house stalking her and then planting a video showing him cavorting with another woman. The words implicated the heartbreak that Britney put him through when she cheated on him with Wade Robson. His next single is What Goes Around Comes Around and this is an ode to Britney ONCE AGAIN. This time, the female playing Britney is a well known Hollywood actress who goes by the name of Scarlet Johansson.

The 11th Annual Urban Wheel Awards kicked off in Detroit on Tuesday night, which saw a list of black celebrities attending looking a hot ass mess, first starting with Kelis and her horrible bleached blonde hair. Sister to Sister writer Jamie Foster-Brown always looks a hot bumbling mess so what's new on her behalf? And Vivicia Foxx, when has this woman EVER looked good?

The only person who looked really nice was my favourite R&B singer Tamia and she always looks on point. You gotta love her.

Jennifer Hudson made an appearance at XM Satellite radio station and had a chat with Gayle King on her show:

Again, she looks good, save for the hair. She could do with a decent hair stylist but her ensemble was actually quite refreshing.

Mr fugly aka Neyo hit up the MTV TRL studios yesterday:

He exclusively told SOHH that he is currently writing songs for Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. His sophomore album is expected to drop sometime between April and May via Def Jam Records, whereas the lead single is set hit the radio airwaves in February. I dread it when he attends events because I just know I have to write about it to feed all you R&B heads with the scoop and well, being an R&B blog, it has to be done.

Another R&B crooner who hit up that very same studio was Mario Barrett:

He actually looks decent. I can't wait for his new album. I am jamming to the 5-6 songs that have leaked over the past few months and his new album is going to be a right banger.

Ciara has a small feature in the recent issue of Cosmo Girl, and she basically just gives advice on girl stuff since it’s that type of magazine. Check it out:

The Bow Wow subject came up, though we know she doesn't like to talk about the break-up publicly but she was asked how to get over a failed relationship. She says: "Realise that life is what you make it. If you choose to dwell on the past or on the bad things then you'll keep yourself in that same place. So get up, get out and do something to work on yourself - that's important for us as women. You have to get yourself together so that when it comes time, someone can become part of your life".

Janet Jackson has been on the quiet front lately following the commercial failure of her latest album 20 Years Old, but again she reappears on the Spring 2007 cover of V magazine:

It's just a preview as to what to expect from the issue. I can't wait to see the full shoot in its entirety. I just like looking at her body because I am so inspired (no homo). My stomach is flat but not as sculptured. I want the ripples, the 6-pack, the whole works.

This week, the 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards took place in Hollywood, and you know, the usual Hollywood suspects were there. However, all eyes were on the stunning Halle Berry who arrived in a sexy gold dress denouncing ALL rumours that she is with child:

Nope. She certainly doesn't look preggers to me. Not with THAT flat stomach, unlike Queen Latifah who looked like she was expecting quadruples. I don't know what has been going on with her lately because there was a time where she had slimmed down and now the weight gain is back on in full strike.
