WEDNESDAY'S R&B JUICE ....

Mel B is the main feature in the latest issue of OK! magazine and the former Spice Girl shows us that she's not playing when it comes to the paternity of her new born baby. Mel has named the baby Angel Iris Murphy Brown using Eddie Murphy's surname in the process. I am practically cracking the fuck up at the caption "Eddie Murphy, meet your daughter". Hilarious. Hell, Eddie may as well give up his plea for a paternity test because that baby is as good as his. If the baby was for a white man (like Eddie was trying to imply) there is NO WAY the baby would have that complexion. And in the interview she says that when she announced her pregnancy, Eddie was over the moon. So at one time, he practically accepted the baby as his and when he dumped her for Tracy Edmonds, all of a sudden the baby was no longer his. This is what you call a true bastard at its finest. Anyway, the baby is absolutely beautiful and Mel B is mad pretty. And her oldest daughter Phoenix Chi is also just as adorable. Inside this post, I have posted the WHOLE entire photoshoot in HQ, and you can even read two pages of the interview. Enjoy.

This is such a lovely lovely lovely photoshoot and they are a beautiful family. What the hell was Murphy thinking?

Mya and Patti Labelle both performed together at the 2007 Lifetime UpFront:

Mya looked really pretty but with her kind of soft voice, is it such a good idea to sing alongside powerhouse Patti? I would love to obtain the audio to this. There's also a new teaser online for Mýa's new video 'Lock you down' which will premiere tomorrow on 106&Park. Check it out.

Anyway, premiere day for Rihanna's new video is tomorrow but I decided I would post more unseen pictures from Rihanna's video shoot "Umbrella":

I needed to post these because she is looking mad hot in the video. I guess she really meant it when she said her image has become sexier and rauncher. Her new album title Good Girl Gone Bad says it all really.

Joe's new album Aint Nothing Like Me dropped this week and he went into promotion overdrive when he performed and signed autographs at J&R Music:

I still haven't checked out his new album. Is it any good?

A couple of days ago ginger haired singer Keyshia Cole was spotted at Mansion but what exactly was she hiding underneath those glasses?

Carot top didn't look so good.

Anyway, British pop/R&B singer Jamelia attended the "Spider-Man 3" London Premiere and it hurts me to pay this woman a compliment but she looked beautiful:

This woman exubes class and style whole-heartedly. But when she starts to open her mouth it withers all away.

R&B Crumbs ....

1. Meet your new Pussy Cat Doll Asia Nitollano. She is going to be Nicole Scherzinger's replacement. Meh! Melissa R definetely got robbed. I have been hooked on the show in the journey to find the new PCD and instantly knew Asia would win. I mean Asia certainly wasn't the best dancer and singer and she certainly wasn't the prettiest. Also, she was a mother at 17 and has a really bitchy attitude. Asia Nitollano is a 19-year-old mother of one from Mt. Vernon, New York. She used to be a dancer for the New York Knicks and is the daughter of Afro-Filipino American Latin musician Joe Bataan. I am not happy with the result but oh well, it's done now. Let's now see what she brings to the table.

2. And Beyonce's Deluxe album/video anthology B'Day has been pulled off ALL shelves due to a pending lawsuit over her cover of Des'ree's "I'm Kissing You". [MTV NEWS]

I mean you can't really blame anyone for not being tolerant over someone using their stuff without permission. Beyonce just cannot go around thinking she's invincible to the point that she won't suffer any repercussions. I thought she'd have known better. This is not the first time Beyonce has been sued over usage of copyrighted music.

3. Ahem .... don't call it a comeback ....

Check out Sisqo's "new" video Who's Ur Daddy. Corny.

4. LISA LEFT EYE LOPES TRIBUTE ....

Today marks the 5-year anniversary since Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in that tragic car crash in Honduras. The short life and fast times of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes will be on display when "VH1 Rock Docs: Last Days Of Left Eye" premieres on May 19 at 9 PM ET/PT. VH1 goes behind the scenes and digs deep in paying homage to the hip-pop artist who fronted the 1990s super R&B group TLC before her untimely death five years ago in a tragic car accident. Lisa became isolated from her band members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Even at the time of her death. The Lauren Lazin-directed documentary is filled with exclusive and never before seen footage which captures the final month of her life. TLC, formed in 1991 in Atlanta was signed to LaFace Records and produced by super-hit-maker Dallas Austin. With hit singles such as 'What About Your Friends,' 'Baby -Baby- Baby,' 'Creep,' 'Red Light Special,' and 'Waterfalls,' the trio became the biggest selling girl group of all time. Left Eye's personal life was just as much of the TLC story as their success. From the torching of her football star boyfriend Andre Rison's mansion and her substance abuse to her very public challenge to fellow group members to compete with solo projects, there was never a dull moment with her liverly and sometimes bawdy spirit.

Truly GONE but NEVER forgotten.

Stay tuned. Stay entertained.
