TUESDAY'S R&B SCOOP & NEW MUSIC!!!

It was a busy morning yesterday for our R&B queen Beyonce because she did two different performances. First, she performed on CBS ''Early Show'' and then later appeared on the "Today" show and did a string of performances there as well.

But what was up with the bright pink lipstick? For a minute I thought I was looking at Sasha. No, not her alter ego. Sasha, the Bratz doll. Anyway, proceed to see more ....

Then she did an interview with Matt Laurer on the Today show and performed at their Show Concert Series:

The lady with the blinding lips continues to do what she does best - shining on that stage. And again, she rocked another cute outfit.

Kelly Rowland performed the Us National Anthem at the Women's final match:

She looked nice.

Ciara also did a performance in Coral Gables, Florida:

Doing the finest Aaliyah/Janet imitation is what Ciara is well known for. At least her hair looks good this time.

Wow. She absolutely loves those glasses. Won't be seen anywhere without them, but you can't really blame her because they're hot.

R&B Crumbs!!!

Wow. It was only this past weekend I brought up the "baby" issue concerning Usher and his new fiance Tameka Foster. And it's NOT the first time I mentioned it either. I stated this problem MONTHS ago. Now all of a sudden, the word is out that Usher is expecting his first child with Tameka, whilst this will be be her fourth. According to Fresh, some folks are saying that the baby is NOT Usher's but it's for her ex-husband Ryan Glover. I won't put too much emphasis on the story though because this could be one BIG publicity stunt for his new album which is expected to drop November (the very same month Usher is expected to marry), which is when baby will be near arrival. And we know how messy Usher can get with the gimmicks and how he treated poor Chilli back then. I guess Mel B isn't the only one with paternity issues. Lil Love - Bone Thugs N Harmony
Bone Thugs N Harmony's new single "Lil L.O.V.E." featuring Mariah Carey and Bow Wow can now be heard via a brand new clip thanks to Kevipod. I've been hearing about this track since the first quarter of March and was dying to hear it as Mariah is one of my favourite R&B singers. Well, you know if Mariah blesses her golden vocals on a rap track, it is more than likely to be hot. The track is taken from Bone's latest album "Strength and Loyalty" and it was produced by hitmaker Jermaine Dupri; the man behind Mariah's latest masterpiece The Emancipation of Mimi. JD is also working with Mariah on her follow-up.

The Future Aint What It Used To Be - MeatLoaf feat Jennifer Hudson
Boogie has sent me this exclusive track. Jennifer Hudson lends her vocals on a soft rock Meatloaf song. Now when I heard about this unlikely collaboration, I didn't think I would like this because in no way am I a Meatloaf fan and I have never been a fan of his. But I like how they sound together on this track and they make a great combination. The song is pretty compelling too. It also shows that Jennifer wants to show that she is a diversified artist and won't just grace songs that have a contemporary R&B backdrop. I feel her voice is more suited to the soul and the R&B and the jazz but she holds her own on the rock side too. Thanks Boogie.

Fall In Love - Teedra Moses Feat Jadakiss
This is supposedly another track from Teedra's upcoming new album The Young Lioness. The album that we anticipate but can't come out. She has recently posted on her Myspace that the album is done and she is waiting on her record label TVT to release it, so it's just annoying that we get so much pushback dates. I don't think her album will come out anytime soon and that's just too bad. Teedra is one of those finest R&B talents that deserve to get a foot through the door and it's always the talented artists that get dogged.

SexyBack - Corinne Bailey Rae
Corinne put her old-skool jazzy touch on Justin Timberlake's SexyBack and it's, well, boring. I know I shouldn't have expected more from Corinne because she's one of those laidback musicians. There's a nice old-skool touch to her version. However, I just can't get into this version and she should never have attempted to remake this. After all, we know this track to be all about the sexiness, a track that exemplifies sex, passion and raw energy and this song lacks that because she bored it down. Nice effort though.
