Doja Cat: Next album to be inspired by ❝90s German Rave❞ music...

Is Doja Cat coming for Gaga's ❝ARTPOP❞ era?

In an interview with CR Fashion Book published today (September 13th), the ever eclectic Doja Cat teases that her next album will be inspired by rave music — specifically that of 1990s Germany.

She goes on to say her future sound aligns with her bold new look; as in the shaved head and eyebrows, often assisted with her latest edgy makeup designs. And she's very specific by saying her future music is “not house” making sure everyone knows she isn't biting off Beyoncé and Drake. Hmmm... a couple of months ago Doja said she was making a full rap album. Perhaps she means rapping over rave-inspired beats? Doubt she'd base a whole album around the rave stuff. More likely she would minimise it to just a couple of songs. She’s not in anyone’s box, and this would be an interesting direction for her sonically.
