Word has it that behind the scenes, she has such a terrible attitude. Record label execs often found themselves pulling out their hair due to Jesy being so difficult to work with. The Hip Hop, black girl cosplay simply didn't work, and Polydor most likely told her she had to release music similar to her Little Mix days. She would not have liked that since she would often criticise the group's music in interviews. The label heard her album and it was ass. They told her to redo it, and she said no. They then dropped her (the official story is that they parted ways amicably but no one believes that.) Between Jesy's publicist and Azealia Banks' publicist, it's hard to fathom which one of them has the most nightmares at night.
Jesy left Little Mix thinking she was going to be a solo hit maker only to find out that she doesn't quite have the star power or talent to make much impact. Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls had everything; the looks, the talent, and yet, no one cared about her solo career. Jesy's music needs to be bang on the money, and if she's not going to bring it... au revoir.
