I'm hearing that Lock U Down is not performing as well as expected. I know the song may be slightly on some wack juice but still, you'd have expected Mya to make some kind of breakthrough by now. Hell, Rihanna only came out yesterday and look how huge she has gotten and yet, Mya has almost been in the game for a whole decade (yes people, 10 freaking years - how time flies - Mya was only 18 when she dropped her debut album and she'll be 28 this October). She has the same suffering to that of Christina Milian. They both have tonnes of sex appeal but yet that sex appeal doesn't help them sell records. Rihanna continued her attack on European shores with the promo and she has also notched up the no 1 position in Ireland with "Umbrella" as well as topping the charts in the UK. After spending the past week in the UK promoting the new single and upcoming new album "Good Girl Gone Bad" Rihanna's next stop was Berlin, Germany where she performed on Viva Live:
I am not sure if it's me but I feel Rihanna is taking the retro's rocker image a little too far now. And she was really overdoing it with the make-up. I know her new album has gone a totally different direction to her previous stuff - less R&B and more of an 80's electronic pop/rock transition - but she could at least tone it down - just a leeetle.

Beyonce has become totally enamored with her Apple laptop lately and just can't keep her hands off it. In fact, the lap top got more hand action than Jay-Z himself. As Amerie is half-Korean herself, it must have felt like home sweet home. I know some of you are asking yourselves what the heck was she wearing. Well .... Amerie's dress is actually called a Hanbok. It's traditional Korean wear. Her mother was also there with her in Souel Korea as well, at that same press conference. Her mom also wore a hanbok too, but she wore the traditional one.

Chris Brown seems to be dabbing in a lot more acting after his short roles in the now-defunct teen drama The OC and successful big-screen dance flick Stomp The Yard:
He is set to star in his first leading role in a basketball film flick called Phenom where he will play a high-school baller who takes on his father's basketball team in the NBA playoffs. Also he will be in Shrek the 4th as a gingerbread pimp which is said be a large role. I guess after he releases his new single Wall to Wall and album Exclusive, his acting career is set to kick off.
This week, Ciara told PEOPLE that she really misses being in a relationship after being single for over a year now (her last high-profile relationship was with rapper Bow Wow). She says: "It's definitely tough at times," she tells PEOPLE. "I'm now past my year mark of being single, and I've got to say I'm a big fan of love. Being in a relationship is one of the most beautiful things, and I'm looking forward to being in a relationship." I say she should just concentrate on her career and not focus too much on finding that somebody because love comes to us when we least expect it to and one day her Mr Right will come along.
