FRIDAY'S R&B JUICE ....

Hot and fabulous R&B chick Amerie attended Escada's grand opening of their Beverly Hills flagship boutique this week. Amerie's promotional stint in the UK finally came to an end as she's back in the US looking hotter than ever.

Pure hotness!

The woman who loves to disappoint her fans made yet another appearance this week. Mya attended Louis Vuitton's "Party of LOVE" in New York:

Mya must not have gotten the memo that her album has been pushed back to well, another 2,000 years.

And we get more Mel B appearances from her 2-day stay in the UK:

Spice Girls mania continued on for another day and word is going round that the Spice Girls getting together for this "one-off" event had nothing to do with David Beckham's 32nd birthday celebration. According to certain reports, Mel isn't even close to David like that. Apparently, they have been offered a mega deal of 1 million EACH to do a one-off gig. Emma, Victoria, Mel B and Geri were locked in talks for the reunion since they hit it big 11 years ago with their debut single Wannabe. The only Spice Girl who didn't attend Beckham's party was Mel C and that was because she was in the middle of shooting a new video. The reason for the many setbacks is because Mel C was never keen on the idea as she wanted to put more concentration into her solo stuff. Mel C has yet to sign the agreement but according to sources she has warmed up to the idea and we may get a Spice Girls gig after all. Not sure how well-recieved it would be if all five of them went on stage again. After all, their young fans are actually ADULTS now like myself. I was mad on the Spice Girls during third grade. I was 14 going on 15 back then when they hit it big with Wannabe. I would try and copy Mel B's big hair. She was my favourite Spice back in the day and I even bought her album "Hot" and her autobiography "Catch A Fire". But most of all, I had ALL the albums, went to see their movie Spice World, had their concerts on VHS, bought their official magazine every month. Yeah, I was definetely spice-whipped back in the day. But I'm not jumping for joy at the reunion though. Some things are best left alone - in the past.

The Spices continued to chill.

And despite it being some years ago that the Spice Girls decided to call it curtains, Mel STILL decides to rock her trademark leopard skin:

She looked good during post-baby stages.

And more pictures as she leaves the party that Spice Girl Victoria held in honour of her hubby's birthday bash:

Still not getting that dress though.

R&B queen Beyonce was spotted leaving the Portofino restaurant in Stockholm Sweden this week:

She looked really pretty.

And I know I posted these already, but the quality wasn't that great. Thanks to Blackson, here are the HIGHEST quality scans of her Vibe feature that are now available and you can EASILY read the interview:

It was definetely a good read.

USHER FIRES HIS MOM!

I've been constantly reporting how Usher's fiance Tameka and his mama Jonetta don't get a long and how it was all bound to end in tears. Usher puts his fiance before his mama this time because well, he feels that his happiness is more important. According to certain reports, their rift dates back to when Jonetta encouraged Usher to fire Tameka as his stylist (which is probably what caused their brief break-up). Also, Tameka allegedly went on the radio and took some shots at Jonetta. And when they attend certain events and you see them hugging and smiling, it is all one big pretence for the camera's, and it appears Usher has had enough and given his mama the boot and may even consider making Tameka his manager instead. However, it's not all bad for Jonetta. Execs at Jive, Usher's label, are not happy about Jonetta's sacking either. It is claimed that they think Jonetta's done an incredible job with his career and are encouraging her to take on Britney Spears. LOL. Talk about ungrateful. I agree that his mama has done fantastic with his career so he should have taken that into consideration. I mean parents only look for the best for their kids and she believed that Tameka was not right for him. But I guess his heart ruled his head this time. I just hope she's worth it.

Robin Thicke also premiered his new video "Can U Believe" this week:

I love Robin's music and I love this track too. He is sooooo underrated and had one of the best R&B albums to come out last year.

And he also performed on American Idol this week:

Hopefully, that would give him more recognition and his album steadily climbs back up.

Stay tuned!
