WEEKEND R&B FAB.....

Beyonce was seen taking a break from her European World Tour this week to go on a shopping spree in Sweden. She was spotted doing some shopping in Louis Vuitton and Gucci where she was to perform a concert at the Stockholm Globe Arena. I am absolutely loving this look, and as I keep saying, the hair colour is gorgeous. Again, our R&B queen is definetely twerking it out!

Beyonce waves as she gets mobbed by a baying rush of Swedish fans. Beyonce has really been hard at work these last couple of months. Meanwhile, check out these two unreleased tracks - What's Good With You and In This World.

Wall To Wall (HQ) - Chris Brown [Download][Alternative]

I previouslly posted the radio rip. Now Chris Brown's new single "Wall to Wall" is available in HQ. After downloading the song and listening to it in superb quality, I am still disappointed. It's like he is trapped in some kind of time zone and doesn't want to grow as an artist. The song could easily have been taken off the last album, and is rather teeny-bopperish. I don't see no growth, no evolvement or any signs that he has matured musically as an artist. He has named his new album "Exclusive" but there is nothing exclusive about this track at all. I still feel that it's a downgraded version of Run It but less catchier. Dude just didn't come hard at all, and I was quite pleased about a new comeback. I was seriously praying that this was just a buzz track but since the track has been sent out to radio, it really does truly appear that this is going to be the official first single from the new album. Let's hope he has a kick-ass video to make up for it.

SOLANGE: "I'M HEIRESS TO MUSIC WORLD EMPIRE"....

I guess if you can't make it to the forefront of music then it's a good idea to be backstage but even better if your family has those super powerful connections. HELL, if mine did I'd have chucked school out of the window a long time ago. Apparently, Beyoncé Knowles' younger sister Solange is to take over as the pop superstar's manager once their father Mathew Knowles steps aside in five years time. Solange has revealed she's the heiress to the music mogul's MusicWorld empire, which also includes a record label. She says: "In five years I'll be answering those calls. I'll be the president and CEO." The talented 20-year-old is busy pitching songs she has written to stars like Reba McEntire and Celine Dion. I think Matthew feels bad because he has put ALL his devotion and commitment into turning Beyonce into a major superstar, whilst not investing as much commitment into Solange's career (her Solo Star debut performed really badly and didn't get the high-budgeted promotion that Beyonce's Dangerously In Love got). That's what happens when you choose favourite amongst your kids. You end up feeling guilty which results in you trying to make up for it.

Even Matthew's "adopted" daughter Kelly Rowland was put aside for Beyonce's career. Remember how Kelly's album Miss Kelly (it was called The Story back then) was supposed to drop in the summer of 2006? And then it was discovered it was pushed back to 2007 so that Beyonce could release her B'Day album that summer instead. Well, Kelly will be getting her shine this summer when her new album drops 26th June. She has a feature in the latest Vibe magazine and she talks about the new album:

In the article, she mentions her new album and the new additions that she's made to it such as the new songs added to Ms. Kelly which are "Show (Put It In)", "Love", "Come Back", "Like This" and "Ghetto." Kelly then goes into detail about what life has been like since Destiny's Child split the year before and her ex Roy Williams whom she was engaged to. Interesing read.

And People magazine has R&B features from Chris Brown and Robin Thicke:

Robin gives us the lowdown on his 14 year-old relationship with wife-actress Paula Patton. He also talks about what he loves most about his wife physically, whereas Chris Brown shows off his puppy, Diamond, on the video shoot of People's Most Beautiful.

RIHANNA NEWS ....

Shut Up And Drive will be the next single off Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album. "Shut Up and Drive" features the bass line from New Order's "Blue Monday". It will be released for airplay in June, around the time of the album's release. Also, ALL next week Rihanna will be co-hosting TRL and she'll be making an appearance on 106&Park this coming Monday. They are NOT playing with this girl's promotion.

J.LO NEWS ...

Word has it that J.Lo's new English single will be going to radio next month. That's all I can report on right now. I have no idea what the single will be called but it's likely that it's going to be a dancey uptempo track. Watch this space.

And lastly, it may not be of relevance to some, but I thought I would make note that today is my boo Craig David's 26th birthday today:

I will NEVER forget his b-day because he shares the EXACT same birthday as my mama. We will all be going to a posh chinese restaurant up town to celebrate and then later me and my sister will be going to see Spiderman 3 which opened yesterday in the UK.

Stay tuned. Stay entertained.
