BEYONCE SWITCHES DIRECTION ON NEW ALBUM....

Boo hoo! Beyonce is to switch musical direction on her third solo album. Apparently, Beyonce's R&B sound will be scrapped in favour of a dancefloor-orientated CD. She has hired Brighton dance act Freemasons to work on some tracks for the record. Check out these quotes:

Freemasons' James Wiltshire told the Daily Star: "The album is going to be huge.

"It will rival anything the likes of Britney and Rihanna have done recently. Beyoncé and her team can see where mistakes were made on the last album.

"It was very American, very R'n'B and stripped back. They want to go for a more international sound this time." [SOURCE]

Rihanna hmmmmm? There goes the Queen chasing trends again. And now she's wanting a more "international" sounding album like Rihanna and Britney. I guess Beyonce is not a leader anymore but a follower. And a dance album which will more than likely appeal to the gay crowd doesn't sound that hot, considering that she has the vocal talent to put out a hot R&B/Soul album. So much for a Timbaland produced record which I was actually looking forwards to. Evolving as an artist is all about doing you and not copying what's hot. Hit me. Somebody had to say it.
