FRIDAY FAB ....

Rihanna's US Weekly spread is now available for viewing so I decided to put up a few images of her latest photoshoot. There's a bunch of pictures over at Oh-Rihanna. The Bajan singer also made note to Jay-Z that she's sick and tired of living in suitcases and would like to find a permanent home in LA:

I don't see how it's going to be possible to settle into a new home permanently when she has been traveling all over the world lately. But once the big break kicks in, I guess a sense of security from all of this madness would be pretty reserving. A sense of normality is probably what the chick needs since Rihanna-mania has taken the world by storm.

This week, Rihanna also visited DJ Clue Live Broadcasting for Power105.1 FM:

She used the opportunity to show off her new tattoo which was placed across her waist. Now this is the type of style that works for her, not that tacky mess she rocked at TRL this week.

And here are more candids of Rih-Rih making her way to the MTV studio's this week:

Rihanna has told People magazine that guys will talk to Jay-Z first before they try to approach her: "I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me. He's very protective. Jay has my best interests in mind. If it's a good guy I know Jay won't shut him down. But if he's not, Jay will be like, 'No, no, no.'" OK. I know Bey must be sick and tired of the "Jay-Z is fucking Rihanna" rumours. However, trying to make Jay-Z out to be the fatherly figure instead of the actual lover doesn't discard those rumours any less. It just shows that Jay-Z is a sugar daddy wanting you all to himself. Nice damage control Rihanna. Beyonce will be pleased.

Ciara WILL be performing at the BET Awards shaking her invisible ding dong at the event which is to take place at the Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday, June 26. Meanwhile, check out some pictures of Cici on the set of her new video 'Can't Leave 'Em Alone' which features rapper 50 Cent:

The laidback sounds of summer was probably the relevant choice as far as this track is concerned.

I'm not really thrilled that we'll be seeing 50 and his massive brick two-front teeth bombarding our screens all over again but Ciara does look nice in this video shoot:

Since hitting the scene back in 2004 with Goodies, Ciara has been compared to artists such as the great late Aaliyah and MTV Icon Janet Jackson, but as an artist I really do think she has come into her own as of late.

Radio City Music Hall proudly welcomed the great Jill Scott to its stage. The Grammy Award winning Philadelphia native singer and song writer is best known for her jazz, rhythm and blues, and neo-soul sounds:

And on the Doug Banks show, Jill Scott also revealed that she was getting a divorce. But things can't be all that bad for Jill because the event she played at was actually a SOLD-OUT gig.

Jill was also joined by special guest Musiq Soulchild:

Musiq Soulchild served as her opening act on the first night of a two-night stand. Musiq became known for creating some of the most compelling soul of the new millennium. Crafting ear-caressing tracks that blend old-school soul fervor with new-school hip-hop rhythms, he went on to sell three million albums in the U.S. alone, gathering a string of major awards in the process. I absolutely love his latest album Luvanmusiq and is definetely an album worth checking out.

R&B Bites

1. Check out brand new Kelly track in full called Put It In (Work):

It sounds like a rejected Beyonce cut to me. It's okay but nothing to write home about. Definitely a filler.

And guess who's making a comeback:

2. Cleo's debut single (Cleo from Brit-pop group Cleopatra) "Feelin' Like This" drops 20th August [thanks Mkz Mckenzie]. Check out the track at her official myspace.

3. Hahaha ..... check out this video where Superhead filmed Bobby Brown snoring on her couch at 7 am. Click on the June 13 video that says B.O.B (Burnt Out Bobby)

4. Check out brand new comeback single from Blaque called Blue Jeans taken from upcoming new album 'Beauty'. Pure wackness.
