For Ashanti standards, that was pretty good. She didn't nail it but she did good for Ashanti. She may have treated herself to some vocal lessons during her absence in music over the years, because she certainly couldn't sing worth a lick when she first dropped. I can't hate, although I won't lie, I'd have preferred Beyonce or my girl Tamia to sing it because they'd have nailed it with FLYING COLOURS. Anyway, it was revealed that Ashanti's serially delayed album The Declaration will be released in February 2008. Why is EVERYONE and their mama set on releasing in February?
