GETTING TO KNOW KERI HILSON ....

A mixtape that you should all listen to is Keri Hilson's The First Impression. I think she deserves her props and it's definitely a way to get people interested in her music. If you've liked the stuff she's done for other R&B artists (Britney Spears, Ciara, Chris Brown, Pussycat Dolls, Usher, Mary J Blige and the list is just endless) you should see and hear what she has to offer to the R&B scene. Keri Hilson is definitely a promising R&B artist from what I'm hearing. She is retiring working behind the scenes to become a full-fledged R&B star. With an impressive roster of massive R&B names whom she's written and produced for, Keri has now decided she wants to write and produce for herself BUT in the public sphere. "Keri Me Out" which features Timbaland is reportedly the first single from her new anticipated debut album Keri'd Away. The song was produced by Timbaland & The Clutch. When describing the track she says: "Keri is my real name, and I find it creative that it has a homophone as "Carry", with that being said I tried to be as creative with this album as possible, the album is titled Keri'd Away: In A Perfect World. The song ("Keri Me Out") is basically about me being in the club, gettin loose and being so tipsy that my girlfriends have to carry me out of the club, its definitely a party/club song I know all ladies who love to party can relate to and sing along. It's like I'm also tellin a story and this song follows right into the second single, which is "Happy Juice" featuring Snoop Dogg & Ludacris."
