TODAY'S R&B CELEB SPOTTINGS ....

On Sunday, the very classy Kelis treated her UK fans to a few impromptu flashes of her underwear:

At the CreamFields Festival she performed a fabulous set of hits including 'Trick Me', 'Millionaire', and 'Milkshake' just to name a few. But what need did she have to spread her leg wide open like that, knowing full well that she was wearing a short dress? Some folks just don't have any class whatsoever. But then again, why am I even surprised? This is not the first time Kelis purposely flashed her knickers on stage. And I'm very certain it won't be the last either. Enjoy the view fella's.

In other weekend activities, Letoya Luckett attended and hosted the the "All White Steve Francis Welcome Back to the Houston Rockets party" at the Hilton Hotel in Houston:

Stunning. Definitely an upgrade.

Yesterday, Ciara attended the Signature Apparel Party which was hosted by Jay-Z and Eve:

I am soooo loving Ciara's hair colour.

Rihanna is now back in LA, and on Monday she was spotted cruising the streets, without her foot cast:

Must be a relief. I guess since VMA rehearsals will be kicking off and that. She'll be performing that annoying ass Shut Up & Drive song. Ugh.

Britney Spears is also a confirmed performer at the VMA's. She'll be performing her new single Gimme More which is expected to go to radio NEXT WEEK. Her new album is also expected to drop this fall but there's no tentative release date as of yet. And judging by her improved weave game, I guess she's taking her comeback very seriously:

Well okay, it's not the best looking weave but it's a start. Now about her new single, a source who's heard it says it's an up-tempo club cut produced by Timbaland protégé Nate "Danjahandz" Hills (Justin Timberlake, T.I.) and has not leaked on the Internet as of yet.

"People are going to love [the new single]," raved the source. "It's like when Justin came back [with FutureSex/LoveSounds] — she's got a whole new sound. She's funky."

Another insider who's heard Gimme More is similarly enthusiastic: "It's a smash! She's going to come out strong. The only question is, with all the drama, are people going to want something fun or something more serious? This is a dance single."

Britney has been spotted a lot with her choreography superstar pal R.J. Durell. His agent Julie McDonald says the pair's relationship is platonic, and in fact, he's working with her on her performance for the MTV Video Music Awards. She says: "He is co-choreographing her performance for the VMAs with Nick Flores, who worked with her as dancer before, so he brought R.J. in." As for the specifics of the performance, which has yet to be officially confirmed by MTV, McDonald says, "It's being kept under wraps." She adds they began working together "a couple of weeks ago" and they've been spending time together "rehearsing the number."

The director of her Gimme More video (Slim-K) has also announced that Britney's comeback video is now complete and is now in the post-production stages. Despite all of her troubles, I think she can make a comeback as long as her VMA performance is ELECTRIC and the song is a smash, she can have the world again. I am actually an undercover Brit fan. I enjoy her albums. But since she's fallen off, she's become Hollywood's laughing stock. This is her chance and she can't afford to mess this up. I wonder if she'll open the show. Anyway, on her new album, Britney has worked with Ne-yo, Swizz Beatz, Jonathan "JR" Rotem, The Neptunes, Sean Garrett, Bloodshy & Avant and a host of others. Sounds promising.

Mel B was spotted in LA this week with her trainer:

Wow. Her body is siiiiick to say she only had a baby 5 months ago. I am going to hate and say THAT looks like a lipo-ed stomach. Is this even possible after 5 months of giving birth? And no stretch marks either. Fab.

More flicks from the MAGIC show in Vegas:

Beyonce's been eating good I see. Raz B, you can write all the essays you want as far as Myspace is concerned but a picture paints a thousand words and you are gay. Look at Nostrils. He really needs to release that serially delayed album ASAP.

Making The Band's Donnie gets his Ice-T swagger on:

Hmmmmm .....
