BROOKE VALENTINE HAS BEEN DROPPED ....

I knew that since Dope Girl tanked last year (as hot as it was) and her sophomore album Physical Education not seeing the time of day this year (after the constant pushbacks), something was definitely up but yes, it's been reported that R&B singer Brooke Valentine in no longer that "dope girl":

But I'm not sad at this news in the least bit. Brooke is not an outstanding singer or performer and the ONLY song I've liked of hers was DOPE GIRL but that bombed, thanks to a craptacular video and piss-poor promotion. Also, her debut album Chain Letter was one of the worst albums to come out that year and the new tracks that leaked weren't really up to par either. Brooke has also been removed from the Virgin roster, so even though she is still with Subliminal Entertainment, she has lost her support from the big label Virgin itself and is now currently shopping for a new record deal. After the way Virgin treated Janet Jackson last year regarding the poor response to her comeback album 20 Years Old, (an icon), there was NO WAY they were going to show a mediocre artist like Brooke any lenience.
