Here is the official album cover for Rihanna's new upcoming CD Good Girl Gone Bad. There has been a couple of fakes floating around over the past couple of weeks but this one is for real, and I think it's cute. I see they airbrushed a bit of ass on her back. Anyway, Good Girl Gone Bad is set to drop 5th June 2007 and the new album will have collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Ne-yo, Stargate, Will.i.am and of course Jay-Z who features on the first single Umbrella. Her video for Umbrella will be directed by Chris Applebaum and set to premiere in the coming weeks.

And as we're on the subject of Rihanna, it has been reported that a few months ago, Rihanna broke up with her boyfriend and steady backup dancer Anthony Rasheed, after she found out that he was gay and had sex with other gay men while they were in a relationship together. Apparently Anthony kept his sexuality on the low-low when he first met Rihanna and it's obviously why. However during their relationship, it has been alleged that the majority of the dance community knew of his indeed sexual preference and 3 year relationship with a VP of SonyBMG. Rumor has it, that Rihanna found out through an A&R at Def Jam who noticed them acting "too close" with one another. That A&R didn't know they had already been together for close to a year. Rihanna supposedly met Anthony back in 2005, shortly after they dated and became lovers. Because of their relationship, Rihanna made Anthony the lead love interest in both "S.O.S" and "Unfaithful" music videos. Their romantic relationship became convenient through Anthony being apart of Rihanna's major media and promo tour; he travelled with her, stayed in her tour bus and also spent nights in her Hotel overseas. Through their relationship, he was also assigned lead male back up dancer on tour, being the only one to "touch" and "grind" with Rihanna onstage. The last time they were seen together was in Barbados, where Rihanna took Anthony to meet her family back home and spent some romantic time together from her busy schedule. Here are a couple of pictures of the couple:

He appeared in two of her video's:

Unfaithful and SOS

And he is the MAIN male dancer who she mainly cavorts with on stage when she's touring all over the place:

I mean, she's seemed to have bonded with that one male dancer whilst she's on stage performing but dating your back-up dancer should serve as a WARNING. Just ask Jennifer Lopez and Spice Girl Mel B. And even back then, Jimmy Gulzar (Mel B's ex-hubby and father to her first daughter Phoenix-Chi) was heavily rumored to be gay/bisexual.

And here's a picture of the alleged couple together holidaying in her native Barbados:

In no way am I reporting this as fact. To me, this is just another run of the rumour mill and nothing can be taken as fact until we get official confirmation from Anthony or Rihanna.

Now her new love is supposedly Omarion from former R&B group B2K:

Again, nobody knows for sure if this new romance is true or not unless there is OFFICIAL confirmation. However, according to In Touch and All Hip Hop, Rihanna has been dating Omarion for two and a half months and this news comes from an insider close to the source.

Kelis and Dania Ramirez attended Soul Kitchen at The Forge in Miami:

I have to stress how much I am loving Kelis's new hair colour. Thank Goodness she got rid of that nasty bleach pink look. Not feeling the hairstyle but the colour is MUCH BETTER. Upgrade!

Ray-J attended Q-Tip's surprise birthday party which took place at the Loft:

Ugh. What's the fascination with him anyway?

My girl Alicia Keys is having a spot of bother with her current label J Records which has resulted in her third studio album being pushed back from June to October according to NY Daily News:

Officially, it was stated that her successful acting career is the reason for the push-back but it has also been alleged that Alicia is not happy with Clive Davis and his overall promotion strategies at the label. Monica and Fantasia who are also on the same label had poor sales recently when they released their CD's late last year and this was all due to poor promotion. Also, Ken Wilson, the promotions director that Alicia respected was fired from the label recently.

I am also reading reports that Clive's main priority right now are on newcoming artists who have also signed to the label recently such as former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson and X-Factor winner Leona Lewis:

Leona has been extremely busy recording her debut album which is expected to drop late 2007, and Jennifer's project is also expected to drop early next year.

But his number one priority right now is Whitney Houston:

And he's pulling out all the stops to ensue she has an explosive comeback. And I remember when Alicia use to be Clive's ONLY priority when he failed to promote R&B singer Olivia at the time who was once signed to the label in 2000-2001. However, it appears Alicia is no longer a frontrunner because all the focus is going towards the upcoming projects of Leona and Jennifer and of course, the queen of all, Whitney Houston. So what becomes of Alicia's future at J Records is yet to be seen but you know that once you're no longer top priority, it's time to start looking for a new home. The talented Alicia will have no problems with labels wanting to sign her up. Both of her albums have sold multi-platinum.

R&B Crumbs...

1. Check out unreleased Ciara track Do It which didn't make her CD Ciara: The Evolution. The track is produced by Will.i.am. [thanks Alan]

2. According to Urban Bridgez, Monica's next single is going to be Hell No featuring Twista. Good choice. Too little too late though.

3. Check out Pretty Ricky's new video Push It Baby featuring Sean Paul.

4. Ashanti's new album "Incredible" is coming along. She has finished recording with mega hot producers Pharrell Williams, Polow Da Don, Neptunes and LT Hutton. Also, collaborations with Robin Thicke, Snoop Dogg and Jim Jones are also complete.

Stay tuned. Stay entertained.
